SBCR Chair Professor Joy Ho awarded the The Carl de Gruchy Oratorship 2022 by the HSANZ.

The Carl de Gruchy Oratorship is the highest honour bestowed by the Haematology Society of Australia and New Zealand (HSANZ) on a member who has made an outstanding contribution to Haematology in Australasia.

Prof Joy Ho was awarded the Carl de Gruchy Medal on 13th September 2022 by the President of HSANZ., Prof Steven Lane.

She gave the Oration entitled “A Haematological Journey: Opportunity, Diversity and Serendipity”.

We congratulate Prof Ho on this significant and well-deserved honour.
