An ode to agave spirits, Four Hundred is a North Sydney rooftop bar and kitchen packing plenty of spice.

Rolling through from lunchtime Monday–Saturday, Four Hundred is a relaxed Tulum-inspired spot that offers a modern Mexican menu with sharing and snacking options and cocktails crafted from tequila (thanks to a partnership with Australian entrepreneurs Jennifer Hawkins, Jake Wall and Tim Freeburn’s Sesión Tequila) in a space filled with raw materials, terracotta, natural oak timbers, and hues of blue to evoke the Mexican coastline.

On the menu, bold Mexican flavours play off influences from Peru, Spain, Argentina and Cuba, with regional classics, street food snacks, share-plates and takes on pub-style meals, with plenty of local seafood also starring.

Top picks include salmon crudo tostadas with avocado salsa and aji verde, stuffed squash blossoms with queso fresco, lemon verbena and salsa roja, roasted pork belly tacos with carrot & daikon pickle, tomatillo ketchup, jalapeño and crackling, and a Baja prawn roll with king prawns, baby gem, avocado, ancho mayo and lemon on a milk bun.

Those branching out from the classic and spicy margarita can explore sips like the Mayahuel with Sesión Blanco tequila, mezcal, Aperol, passionfruit, lemon, agave and egg white, or the Cafe de Olla blending Sesión mocha, espresso, pineapple, citrus before being clarified.

Weekends kick off with DJs every Friday from 4pm, while Saturdays see an $89pp bottomless lunch take to the open-air space, offering flowing margaritas, mimosas, wines, and beers.

Four Hundred is also primed for functions and events thanks to the events team from sister venue the Greenwood Hotel.
