Wilford Brimley will always be a 'Natural'

Actor Wilford Brimley has stood toe-to-toe with some pretty good actors.

But he's be able to stand out whether he's confronting Robert Redford, Jane Fonda, Robert Duvall, Tom Cruise, Gene Hackman or Bob Newhart.

On his 78th birthday we salute Brimley and his role of Pop Fisher in "The Natural" ranked as one of the greatest sports movies of all-time.

"No look at me. I'm wet nurse to a last-place, dead-to-the-neck-up ball club, and I'm choking to death!"
