The Equate Saline Solution for Sensitive Eyes is approved to rinse soft contact lenses only. You can put drops on the lenses before inserting into the eye, but the product should not be used directly from the bottle into the eye.

I would not use it for this purpose. The first ingredient in this is Potassium Chloride. For the nose you want Sodium Chloride. One half teaspoon of table salt (NOT iodized) mixed thoroughly in one pint (16 ozs.) warm water works very well as a nose irrigation solution.

Yes. I fill up a small bottle with saline solution and carry it with me when I am out during the day so I can add drops to my eyes when they feel dry. I have done so for 20  years since I started wearing soft contact lenses.

They don't include the ingredients in the description. 
would have to call or go to the store to check. Their regular solution would work. I just saw the recipe for snot slime and am looking for solution too   lol

Has anyone ever tried using this brand for slime? And if so then did it work?

Is this product made in the USA? If so you should put that prominently on the box as I search for that on all products.

Dr told me I need a plain saline solution to rinse off the chemicals from my regular contact solution to keep my eyes healthy. This is why I bought it. She said research says we are messing our eyes up with too many chemicals and this will rinse it off after using the multi-purpose solutions.

Equate Saline Solution for Sensitive Eyes

I am new to contacts but I can tell you this product made it much easier to adjust to wearing them. The first product I used made my eyes burn making it uncomfortable to wear my contacts. When i saw this for sensitive eyes I figured what could it hurt. After using this I will never use anything else. My eyes don't burn any more, making wearing contacts pleasurable.

Great for sensitive eyes

I have used this Saline Solution for years. No need to pay a higher price for the same thing. Saline is great for rinsing contacts and or flushing an eye when you get something stuck in it. The 2 pack is great! One in the house , One in the travel bag!

Helps you see clearly!

It must be tossed after 3 months so use it to refresh old mascara too.

this is the first saline solution I've been able to find for gas permeable contacts that was very reasonably priced. not much different than regular saline solution.

My eyes love this brand!

I've been using this product for my regular contact lens use, and am pleased with the consistent quality. I like the fact that it is formulated for "sensitive eyes" (as mine are) and I have had no problems with allergic reactions or stinging. It compares well with other name brand products in quality and the price of the 2-pack makes it a very good deal. Only problem is that it is not always available at the local walmart store but generally available onliune at walmart.com.

Used it to make slime with the kids and it did what was needed, not too sure how it works for it's meant purpose…

i never received the saline solution only the eye drops.
i got a notification that they were going to be delivered yesterday but they were not included in the package with the drops

I was looking for a replacement product for Unisol, which is pure saline without preservatives or additives. This is not it! I briefly soaked my lenses in it, then reinserted them.  My eyes instantly stung...I had to remove the lenses. This two pack will be going back.
