I have a small fleet of trucks that use this battery I have never been disappointed with anyone I've purchased. They last about 4 years

Small fleet

Short version: Buying this battery is a GOOD idea - other factors aside. It lasted 5 years without any issues. In my opinion, it was a really great value. I did not hesitate to purchase another battery from Walmart, but this one lasted so long they no longer had it in stock. This one actually required a spacer because it was smaller than the original battery. This one you are considering is what I replaced it with. So, basically what I am saying is that even the cheaper version lasts at least 5 years in my experience. 

Long story: In January of 2017 I purchased the "Valuepower" Group 26, 525 CCA at the Walmart in Red Bluff, CA. I believe it was even cheaper than the Everstart model. This was for a base model 1986.5 Nissan D21. I replaced it in February of 2022 in advance of having any real issues with it. Noteworthy: it was a "low drain" situation with no car alarm, and very few bells and whistles. I believe Johnson Controls makes something like 80% of car batteries in the USA from what I've heard.  This one actually required a spacer in order to be held securely in place. Core refund was slightly more complicated if anything because you have to make a 2nd stop at customer service desk. In my case, I had to go to the store twice, and the second time was to turn in the old battery for the core refund because I did not bring the old one with me and/or I was actually driving the truck. 5 Year Long Term Review

Battery works and pick up was easy, but I got charged $36 for taxes

was prpmised a 50% return rebate pn my 12 volt battery for my grand caravan.  iy was partially why i purchased this partivular battery.  its now been about 4 weeks and havent recieved znything.  makes me wonder if illl be getting anything for my core on the batttery.?  so note my ratimg is based on not thr battery itself but  on Wlamarts advertisement'

Procedure to return battery core is entirely missing. Had to shuttle back and forth between three departments  to get core charge refunded. Took an hour to do.

battery price was $69.74  $12 for fees and taxes  $5.25 for more taxes   $8 for extended warranty = $94.99 
The warranty states that it is for furniture, I did not buy furniture. I could have bought this battery in the store for $74,99, The sales clerk in the store said that an extended warranty is not offered on batteries.

What I dislike is that I brought this battery November 13 and battery did not work I wasn't able to return it

11 months ago I replaced my battery and installed a new alternator and my battery died 11 months later and my charger and my tester and advanced auto tested the battery and it was vary bad. 8% life. I brought it to Walmart and they made me wait a hour to test it with “A Walmart tester” and they said it was good. They just didn't want to honer the warranty. I will never buy anything from those guys again.

the battery lasted 5 days. Walmart would NOT RETURN it because it was used and couldn't verify it was the new one purchased from them or i had a issue with ny car.
How do i know i don't have a issue with my car draining the battery? Because i bought a battery from advanced auto and still have that battery to this day
