There are SO Many things that I wish I knew before buying this!

IMPORTANT:  This is at minimum a 2-person job and will require more muscle than that to move the deck into position (Suggest 4 strong adults).
If you're not moderately handy this is NOT the project for you.  It's certainly doable for anyone, but the lack of a quality step by step process will force you to figure a lot of things out on your own. 

Instructions = 0 Stars - 
When you charge $4k  for something and then give incomplete instructions and ZERO video to help?  I can't honestly give a star for that.

Hardware = 5 stars - screws/bolts, etc.. are all labeled very well on the bright side which was appreciated!

Material = 4 stars - Meets expectations in nearly all areas.  Beware it comes on a pallet and a few of the boxes are nearly impossible to move with 2 people so need to carry the pieces individually to your pool.

Size/Functionality - It's smaller than you think it will be when you take into account the railing that eats up some of the surface area.  There's enough room for a chair on the deck, but then no room to walk by.  If you're looking for something where you can sit up and watch the kids and read a book....this doesn't work well for that as it's tight depth wise. If you're just looking for a deck platform so you don't need to use an "A" ladder....this is a definite upgrade.

Sturdiness/Safety -  2.5 Stars
This rating completely comes down to how well you get it leveled and with the limited information they give on this it's VERY easy to struggle with getting the deck secure and to not be wobbly.  If you're building it on a pre-built concrete slab then you're in business.  BUT BUT BUT if you're digging into the ground and especially unlevel ground....be prepared for misery and frustration.  It doesn't have to be that way, but it's tough. 

OVERALL:  2 Stars - There jury is out on how it handles day to day wear and tear, but this should provide us a few years of use.  The instructions really need to provide a video or at the very least some more detail about different types of expectations for the deck foundation.  The concrete blocks it suggests to sit on are fine, but there's no help in the layout, what to expect, what you can do to prep (dig holes) and other potential pitfalls you can run into.  Digging 8 holes with a spade shovel and then fitting in and leveling the 16x2" blocks is an exercise in torture that I would not want to do again.

FINAL THOUGHTS:  With something this size we did have a few snags with the materials.  We didn't get the correct braces...our box included extra "long" instead of any medium as an example.  The biggest issue is the underside of the platform was missing a few holes needed to secure braces to the post in front center which is a big deal since those posts remove wobbling quite a bit.  We were forced to go buy our own way to brace this post...which we shouldn't have to do.

If you like projects and this fits the space/size you are looking for...it can be done and be useful.  BUT if you're looking for something quick and hassle free this is NOT recommended.

Honest Review after Building...Must Read!!

We were missing a piece of the ladder when my husband built this. Walmart and the seller have been almost unreachable and have been no help. Still can't use our pool. Shame on Walmart!!! Take your name off this company.
