Description

Full name of this orchid is Serapias cordigera var. neglecta.

A tuberous perennial.

Flowers

The pale lilac sepals and petals form a hood. The reddish lip is longer than the hood, broad and hairy, then narrowing to a point directed downwards. The two lateral lobes form a cylindrical throat, inside the hood.

Leaves

Lanceolate leaf is lance-shaped: long and widest in the middle. Long, narrow, pointed, margins bent inwards, not spotted.
