Models of VT family in Japan, Europe and U.S.A.

There was another kind of demand in Japan, where people like American VT models had a bigger engine block and more chrome. ( The American designers took part in design because they knew the demand of bikers in U.S.A. )

European models were more economical about chrome and the exhaust pipe wasn't too loud. The aluminum accessories were polished and lacquered instead of chrome. Honda factory made some models with smaller engine block on the Japanese market ( NV 400, VLX 400 ). Easier handling was a point of view for safety.

Bikes had some interesting names in Japan, Europe and U.S.A. as well like for example the name of VT and VTX were Aero, Spirit, Sabre, Fury in U.S.A. There were shorter names in Europe like ( C2, C3, C4, 1300CX and so on...). VT 750 DC had a cool name called Black Widow just like the American 750 Spirit. VT and NV models had some interesting names in Japan like Steed and Shadow Slasher.

I've already seen any Japanese VT 400 and it looked like any 750 C2...weaker output and a lots of chrome...I felt the difference when I drove it. ( That bike was for sale and the owner said that's a 750 model. Fortunately I found the real data on that bike and it was written ( 398 ccm ) We didn't make a bargain ). I'd like to mention of some exciting American Shadow and VTX like 1.1 Spirit, 1.1 Tourer with double sided exhaust pipes and enlarged output, and the black-green 1.1 CT. The different series of 1.8 Retro among the VTX fascinated the buyers overseas. The newer 1.3 VT is an exciting series namely Stateline and Interstate. American designers of Interstate make an impression on Honda bikes in U.S.A. and they put some great bikes on the market like Honda Goldwing, Interstate, Valkyrie Interstate and so on...
The legendary Japanese VRX 400 roadster has a newer middle category series. This is the 750 S what disappeared overseas like RS. And finally let's make a mention of a smaller category bike called VLX Steed. Bikers like this model in Japan and U.S.A. as well. This series was mounted with Springer fork too ( VLS ).

I hope the VT Shadow bike family will be diverse in the future too and we'll see some extraordinary models in Hungary too.

Greetings... Á.A.
