Hello there! Time to showcase another gorgeous stamp set for the Neat & Tangled January Release!
Day 2 is for So Good To See You – here’s my card:
I love stamp sets like this because you can create amazing wreath style patterns in so many different configurations! And then colour them with your favourite mediums, whether that’s watercolour, Copics or Distress Inks.
I began by drawing around an oval shaped die as a guideline for stamping my wreath, using some of the images from the set with black dye ink. I stamped the sentiment in the centre of the oval and then coloured the wreath in with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens.
I also stamped some of the flowers and leaves from the set onto coloured panel scraps that I can never seem to throw away! I fussy-cut these out and lined the edges with a black, brush tip marker to hide the white core of the cardstock.
After I’d finished colouring the wreath image, I trimmed the panel down to slightly smaller than my card base, and foam mounted to the front. I also foam mounted some of the flowers and leaves that I’d fussy-cut out for some depth.
To finish, I added dotted some white enamel accents onto the coloured images and in the centre of the flowers.
