'Lake Bream'. Artist/engraver/cartographer: Printed from original watercolours and drawings by Jonathan Couch, an eminent British naturalist who lived in the fishing village of Polperro, Cornwall. Engraved onto woodblocks by Alex Lydon. Plates printed in colour by Benjamin Fawcett, with final hand-colouring by local artists in Polperro. Provenance: "A History of the Fishes of the British Islands"; by Jonathan Couch, Published by George Bell & Sons, London. Type: Fine antique woodblock print on good quality paper.
