Palisota Barteri ist eine sehr schmuckvolle Blattpflanze des feuchten Warmhauses, deren unscheinbar weiße, versteckte jlüten uns zwar wenig begeistern können; aber umsomehr tun dieses die zahlreichen, tiefroten Fruchtstände, welche im Verein mit den großen, grünen Blättern von recht an- genehmer Wirkung sind.
