The seed of Xo. 330, which is probably the type, was obtained from Prof. W. A. Setchell (see Setchell 1912, pp. 21-22). The seed of Xo. 383 was received from the Instituto Sperimextale per le Cultivazioxi dei Tabacchi at Scafati, Italy, through the kind- ness of Dr. A. Splexdore.
