De boring door den heer koppel simons uit Dusseldorf in den loop van het jaar 1873 in de buurtschap Ratum onder Winterswijk bewerkstelligd, heeft kennelijk tot het besluit geleid, dat de Wealden hier rusten tegen de keuperlagen. Bevinden zich nu ook hier ter plaatse nog de overige Triaslagen, ook Dias, gelijk te Ibbenbüren? Het bevestigend antwoord op deze vraag zou zeker niet in 't belang der industrie zijn. Doch voor 'shan
