Right lung: There are a fewrecent pleuritic adhesions. The lower lobe is thickly studded withmiliary tubercles, and scattered through the entire lung are suppuratingfoci like those in the left lung. At the lower border of the lower lobethere is a cheesy nodule which suggests an old tubercular lesion. Liver:There is nothing abnormal, excepting that the color is pale. The spleenis normal. Pancreas: In and immediately around the gland there aremany small abscesses. Kidneys: The description of one applies to STREPTOTHRIX INFECTION. 1$^ both. The capsule is not adherent. The surface is everywhere andevenly dotted with minute white spots which suggest septic embolirather than tubercles. They are very sHghtly raised above the surfaceand are so close together that the surface of the kidney is decidedly grayand finely granular
