Zooidernes placering i kolonien er ganske vilkårlig. De er i konserveret materiale 1,5-1,7 mm lange og tydeligt delt i thorax og abdomen. Kappeåbningen er ret snæver, dens øvre rand trukket ud i en sædvanligvis smal og ret langstrakt. Fig. 25*. Didemnum albidum, koloni. atrialtunge. Sideorganet er hos nogle zooider et ovalt parti på siden af thorax, hos andre ganske uanseligt. Der er 16 mund- tentakler og 4 rækker gællespalter.
