The stoma represented in fig. 611, A, is from the lower epidermis of Pterophyllum (Anomozamites) Nilssoni (Phill.)^ Pterophyllum extends from Upper Carboniferous to Lower Cretaceous strata and is especially characteristic of Keuper and Rhaetic floras.
